The basic membership at SalvageBid comes free of charge, but there are many features missing when comparing it with the premium membership. With a basic account, you can only purchase one vehicle by using pre-bidding only.  This means, you cannot place any bids during live auctions. Your only chance to win a vehicle at with a basic membership is placing a high enough preliminary bid, and hope that nobody manages to outbid you during the live auction.

At the end of the day, it makes sense to purchase our premium membership because of multiple reasons. This way, you are not limited to purchasing just one vehicle. You are also able to take part in our live auctions, via which most auctions are won. Customers who plan on purchasing more than one vehicle from us should without a doubt purchase the premium package.

If, nevertheless, you plan on being a one time buyer, we recommend you place the maximum amount of money you are willing to pay for the lot, due to the fact that with your basic membership you will not be allowed to place any more bids during the live auction.
