SalvageBid.com is an online broker that gives thousands of people access to bid directly on IAA lots. On SalvageBid auctions you can purchase SUVs, trucks, boats, motorcycles, RV’s and much more. In most cases, these cars will have different sorts of damages, either collision, fire damage or recovered from theft. You will also find clean title vehicles if that is what you are looking for. If you are considering purchasing from us, it is important you understand what package options you have, and which one best fits your needs.

On SalvageBid.com we have two packages, basic and premium. Let us break down which package gives our customers more value, and which one of these packages makes more sense for one time buyers and returning customers.

Premium Membership

The premium membership subscription at SalvageBid costs $200 per year. With this package, you can purchase unlimited number of vehicles by using pre-bidding or participating in live auction. We highly recommend purchasing this subscription plan if you are going to purchase more than one vehicle with us.

Basic Membership

The basic membership at SalvageBid comes free of charge, but there are many features missing when comparing it with the premium membership. With a basic account, you can only purchase one vehicle by using pre-bidding only.  This means, you cannot place any bids during live auctions. Your only chance to win a vehicle at SalvageBid.com with a basic membership is placing a high enough preliminary bid, and hope that nobody manages to outbid you during the live auction.

At the end of the day, it makes sense to purchase our premium membership because of multiple reasons. This way, you are not limited to purchasing just one vehicle. You are also able to take part in our live auctions, via which most auctions are won. Customers who plan on purchasing more than one vehicle from us should without a doubt purchase the premium package.

If, nevertheless, you plan on being a one time buyer, we recommend you place the maximum amount of money you are willing to pay for the lot, due to the fact that with your basic membership you will not be allowed to place any more bids during the live auction.
