Aston Martin

James Bond drove several Aston Martins in different films. The DB5 is probably the most famous car associated with this fictional character and is often called “James Bond’s car”. This 2 door coupe was the first of Bond’s Aston Martins that appeared in Goldfinger (1964) and then in Thunderball (1965).

The next Aston Martin to appear was the 1985 V8 Vantage Volante, in The Living Daylights (1987) together with Timothy Dalton cast as Bond. The V8 was later followed by the Aston Martin DBS that showed up in Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969).

As Daniel Craig became Bond of a new century, producers decided to revive Aston Martin, so the DBS V12 appeared in Casino Royale in 2006 followed by the DB10 in Spectre (2015).

Right now, there are a couple of good deals on Aston Martins on Salvagebid. Check them out if you want to know what it’s like to drive like James Bond.

Bentley

The 1935 Bentley Mark IV appeared in the second James Bond movie, From Russia With Love (1963). Bond drove Bentleys in many novels by Ian Fleming, so producers decided to feature this the manufacturer in their films. The Bentley Mark IV was already 30 years old at the time, however, its classic look was well-suited for Bond’s character.

Ford

Always in fashion, the Ford Mustang represents the best traditions of luxury and style. The 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 muscle car was featured in Diamonds are Forever (1971) where Bond was engaged in a police chase.

The 1957 Ford Fairlane convertible appeared in Die Another Day (2002). Though it wasn’t the fastest and the most powerful of Bond’s cars, the Fairlane became the perfect choice for relaxed driving through Havana, Cuba.
