3 Tesla Models to Look for in Insurance Auto Salvage Auctions

The Tesla brand has successfully managed to stir a rather traditional market through breathtaking innovation. To date,  the brand has released a slew of electric cars that have grabbed headlines for all the right reasons. These include Tesla Model S, Tesla Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Roadster. As they are performance vehicles, they come with a sizable price tag. Bargains are readily available if you opt to go through insurance salvage cars auctions. Here is a look at three of the many Tesla Models that you can find at Salvagebid.

Tesla Model S

Unveiled in 2012, the Tesla Model S played a central role in putting the brand on the map. To date, it has seen a range of updates and now comes in two all-wheel-drive versions: Long Range and Performance. Autopilot comes standard on the two with the Performance version boasting insane acceleration going from 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds while the Long Range version takes 3.7 seconds.

Tesla Model 3

Introduced in 2016 in the US, the Tesla Model 3 is not only an affordable alternative to the Model S but the most affordable Tesla on the market. Over the years, the range of options has narrowed down to three, all of which come with Autopilot: Standard Range Plus, Long Range, and Performance.  The Standard Range Plus goes from 0-62 mph in 5.3 seconds, the Long Range goes from 0-60 in 4.4 seconds, while the Performance goes from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.

Tesla Model X

The Tesla Model X is an SUV-style EV that can seat seven people and borrows a lot from the Model S in terms of design with the huge touchscreen and Falcon Wing Doors being some of its unique attributes. It comes in two models that feature any of the three seating configurations as well as Autopilot as standard. The Long Range version goes from 0-62 in 4.4 seconds while the Ludicrous Performance takes 2.7 seconds to achieve the feat.
