The automotive industry never takes a break and a great range of new models enter the markets around the world each year. This article is listing the most anticipated cars for this year. Let’s look at some brand-new vehicles that are yet to come.

New Models from Cadillac

Cadillac announced a number of midsize sedans: the CT4, the CT5, and a large crossover, the XT6. The CT5 and XT6 have been already available in dealers’ showrooms, with prices starting from $34,695 for the base CT5 and $52,695 for the base XT6. The CT4 is going to hit the market in early 2020 and it will be the cheapest Cadillac available in the USA, with the base MSRP at $32,995.

We put these cars on our list for a few reasons.  Not only because of their 10-speed automatic transmissions for the sedans (the XT6 has a 9-speed), but also for the wide selection of trims and impressive exterior styling. If you want to buy a Cadillac, check out our inventory on Salvagebid.

Reimagined Vehicles from Lincoln

Ford’s subsidiary, Lincoln, announced the all-new 2020 Corsair SUV and the 2020 Aviator. The Aviator’s base model starts at $53,000. While that may seem steep, the Aviator is loaded with features and incredibly refined styling. The Aviator’s powertrain is a 400-horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V6, and it is loaded with additional features like the Co-Pilot 360™ and 30-way massaging seats.

The Corsair is a totally new compact crossover. With an intelligent all-wheel-drive system aided by Lincoln Drive Modes, piano-like keys on the central console, new powerful turbocharged engines, the 2020 Corsair is a top contender for new cars this year. The base models’ MSRP is $35,945. You can find its predecessor, the MKC, on Salvagebid.

The Chevrolet Corvette C8

The American automotive giant, Chevrolet, announced the refreshed Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban for this year, but the most outstanding model in the 2020 lineup is the Corvette C8. Zora Arkus Duntov was the engineer behind the very first Corvette, and his dream of a mid-engined Corvette has finally come true. Although the C8 was already announced,  it still has not appeared in dealerships. Its 495-horsepower LT2 engine is the answer for those who are keen on speed. The Corvette C8 hasn’t appeared on public roads yet, but has already collected the title of the North American Car of the Year. Are you looking for the Chevrolet Corvette and are tired of waiting? GMC’s Updated Inventory

GMC is going refining their line-up and, according to their official site, three models will appear by the end of 2020: the all-new Yukon, Canyon, and Terrain. With the  Sierra pickup, GMC is always on the top 20 list of the most popular cars sold in the USA. If you are looking for a clean or salvage title GMC, we have many available

Ford Introduces EV

Ford has impressed the automotive world with the Mustang Mach-E: a subcompact electric SUV has yet to arrive at dealerships. No one could expect the Mustang name to be assigned to a crossover, but with lines and styling heavily inspired by the automaker’s legacy, the Mach-E sits well deserved with the name. One of the most important features of the Mach-E is the range: Ford estimates up to 300 miles on a single charge for the extended battery, placing it ahead of other automaker’s range and limitations.

Last but not least from Ford is the refreshed Ford Explorer. The facelift version of the most popular mid-size crossover of the previous years starts at $36,675. The main differences from the older generation are redesigns of the front-end and interior. The ST version offers a sportscar level technical specifications: a 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine that produces 400 horsepower along with 415 lb-ft of torque, but the price starts at around $56,000. While it may be difficult to find newer Explorers at auction, if you are looking for the previous generations take a look at Salvagebid.

The last on our list of American cars is the compact SUV by Tesla, the Model Y. According to Tesla, the Model Y falls into its own class: Compact Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV). Tesla claims the Model Y has a  range of up to 300 miles, which is quite a bit for a larger EV. A brand new Tesla can be cost-prohibitive, but we have clean and salvage title Teslas in our inventory.

German cars to be waited for in 2020

German manufacturers still continue their rivalry, and the world is waiting for the upcoming generations of cars like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the Audi Q5, and the BMW 4 Series. Mercedes-Benz is currently testing its new models. A lot of new features are expected, and the Mercedes-Benz MBUX multimedia system will appear in the new S-Class, which is likely to get the name W223. Specific details about one of the most luxurious sedans in the world are still kept secret by the Mercedes-Benz officials, but the W223 may be shown to the masses this spring at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show. The new S-Class hasn’t been released yet, but we have many older models available. If you want to buy a Mercedes-Benz, check our inventory on Salvagebid.

BMW is introducing a brand-new 4 Series this summer. The upcoming 4 is likely to share the platform with the new 3 Series and the radiator grille will likely remain unchanged. Why this car is worth waiting for? This new agile road-tool will be serious competition to Mercedes’ AMG department, and considering BMW’s popularity in the USA, the new M4 won’t be a rare car in American streets. As the platform may be shared with 3 Series line-up, the technical specifications may also be the same, though they are still unknown. Ingolstadt-based German manufacturer Audi, is conducting tests on a new generation of mid-size crossover: the Q5 that’s entering showrooms in late 2020. One of the more anticipated features of the new Q5 is its powertrain. A mild-hybrid appears for the first time on Q5, it will appear in the 40 TFSI and 45 TFSI iterations which are equipped with internal combustion engines paired with a 48V battery, like the newest Audi A4. The 40 TFSI’s output is 187 horsepower and the 45 TFSI produces 242 horsepower. The car has only been spotted wearing cover to prevent photo leaks, but the design is likely to be sleek and eye-catching as on all recent Audis. The newest Q5 is not yet available, but there are a lot of previous models available on Salvagebid.

Japanese cars in 2020: the most expected

The Japanese automotive industry is also on this list. Americans should wait for the upcoming Nissan Sentra that will go on sale in early 2020. The Nissan Sentra is one of the most popular vehicles in the USA and the new generation will definitely become a bestseller. In 2019, 184,613 Sentras were sold: a 13% drop from 2018. The 2020 model has a completely new 2.0-liter engine paired up with a CVT. The engine puts out 149 horsepower,  more than enough to run smoothly through the city. If you’re looking for a cheap and reliable car, then look through older Nissan Sentras on in our inventory on Salvagebid.

Another generation of Nissan’s heavy-duty truck, the Titan, will appear this year. A redesigned exterior saw a more defined and bold front-end, and the interior saw an overhaul as well. An all-new integrated command interface in the cabin is the key feature inside. The sales start in early 2020, the prices are yet to be announced. Older model years are available on Salvagebid.
